What is a GlamperVan?

A GlamperVan is a campervan built to glamping standards - the mobility of a van joined with glamping-grade comfort, craftsmanship and materials. The category was created by Rok Kordin under the GlamVan brand. Robeta builds and markets Ananya under licence.

We're Rok and Noemi, the restless souls behind Ananya Glampervan. I'm Rok, architect of impossible spaces and father of Ananya, whose hands refuse to surrender until every line and material whispers its own story of possibility. And this is Noemi, vanlife expert and digital dreamweaver who spends most of her life on the road, understanding that freedom isn't a destination on any map—it's the very essence of the journey itself.

Together, we challenged ourselves with one powerful question: What if the life we dream about isn't something to wait for, but something we can build with our own hands today?

In the valleys of Nepal, Ananya takes on an even deeper resonance - "she who brings light to darkness." And in this vessel of dreams and steel, this meaning finds its physical form. Like her namesake, she refuses to accept the ordinary. In a world of small cramped campervans with tiny windows, she stands defiant - panoramic, open, luminous.

BY THOUGHTFUL DETAIL

Windows line both sides of the interior, flooding the space with natural light and providing views of changing landscapes during travel. Heated floors extend throughout, delivering consistent warmth underfoot regardless of outside temperatures.

The bathroom features practical microcement walls in a neutral tone, creating waterproof, easy-to-clean surfaces ideal for wet areas. Within this bathroom space, a natural wood trunk serves as the vanity base, its organic form and visible grain supporting a stone basin sink.

This combination of natural elements adds textural contrast to the smooth microcement surroundings. Natural stones also line the shower floor, offering both visual interest and functional foot massage during use. Soft organic curtains in undyed fabrics frame the windows, providing adjustable privacy and light control through simple, maintenance-free materials.

The kitchen area showcases the Corian® Sand Storm counter top, its speckled neutral surface resisting stains and scratches while offering ample food preparation space. This same durable material continues to the dining table positioned near the couch, creating material consistency throughout the living area. The couch provides comfortable seating for relaxation, dining, and workspaces as needed.

Throughout the interior, curved edges on cabinetry, countertops, and the roof line eliminate sharp corners, preventing injuries during travel while creating a visually softer environment. White cabinetry maximizes storage capacity while their handleless design maintains clean lines throughout this compact yet highly functional space.

We began with a simple question:

what if we created a space around how people truly live?

Not the cramped, compromised version of living that’s become somehow acceptable, but real living. The kind where you can host friends for dinner, work with a view of mountains, or simply stretch out with a book while rain taps against the glass windows above and around you.

There’s something almost rebellious about starting with the couch.
(Yes, the couch. Because that’s where life happens, isn’t it?)

It is not just any couch—but one that stretches nearly two meters in both directions, with a depth that invites you to sink in, to stay, to dream. Eighty centimeters deep, because we believe comfort shouldn’t be measured in compromises.

A kitchen that rewrites the rules is

A kitchen that refuses to compromise

Look around at most van kitchens—a tiny counter, a camping stove, maybe a mini-fridge if you’re lucky. We took one look at that standard and decided the story of mobile living needed a different ending.

Our kitchen starts with what actually matters: space to cook real meals. The counter isn’t just bigger than standard van kitchens; it’s bigger than many apartment kitchens. We wrapped it in Corian® Sand Storm, a surface that catches morning light like desert dawn, because some things shouldn’t be compromised. (And yes, it handles everything from rolling pasta to midnight wine spills without keeping score.)

We chose the Bora® Classic gas cooktop (with automatic reignition, because mountain breezes shouldn't interrupt your cooking) and a proper gas oven that brings the aroma of fresh-baked bread to any location you choose. The 130-liter fridge isn't just about storage—it's about carrying the ingredients for a week's worth of culinary possibilities far from the nearest market.
(Because why should adventure mean living on canned beans?)

This isn’t about reinventing the kitchen. It’s about refusing to accept that “mobile” must mean “minimal.” Sometimes luxury isn’t about gold taps and marble counters—it’s about having enough space to chop vegetables while your coffee brews.

What happens when a bathroom has no boundaries?

Natural stone pebbles beneath your feet tell stories of riverbeds, while micro cement walls rise cool and confident around you. This isn't about building barriers—it's about creating flow. That's why we chose curtains over doors: soft, waterproof fabric that adds privacy while keeping the space alive. (Because privacy doesn't need permanent walls.)

The Elegance 2G Cut toilet brings maritime engineering inland, where every detail speaks of thoughtful design. Its macerator system quietly transforms the practical into the seamless—one button, no ceremony, no compromise. The black water tank handles the rest with the same quiet dignity, because technology should serve, not complicate.

Natural stone, clean lines, flowing fabric. Each element chosen not just for its function, but for how it works together. This isn't about luxury—it's about rethinking what's possible when you stop treating a bathroom like a secret to be hidden away.
(Because who decided bathrooms needed to feel closed off anyway?)

This isn't just a color scheme—it's a conversation between materials that understand each other. Each surface, each texture plays its part in a composition that feels both timeless and thoroughly modern.

Like desert light transforming across hours, these materials shift and play with changing light, creating an interior that lives and breathes with the day's rhythm.

Our palette draws inspiration from nature's most elegant contrasts: the raw beauty of river-worn pebbles in Mosavit Piedra Extra Blanca, the structured serenity of PU Star moon stone, and the organic rhythm of Spalt's layered storytelling. Kimbora upholstery brings softness to strength, while hints of ALU Bronze add sophistication without shouting.

What Happens When the Sky Becomes Your Ceiling?

Imagine lying beneath a canopy of stars, the night sky stretching endlessly above you, as if the van itself has dissolved into the universe.

This is the vision behind our Skywindow—a daring leap in campervan design that refuses to accept the ordinary. It’s not just about cutting a hole in the roof; it’s about rewriting the rules, pushing boundaries, and searching for a way to bring the outside in like never before.

We’re deep in the prototyping phase right now, wrestling with the possibilities. The Skywindow isn’t a sure thing yet—honestly, we’re still figuring out if we can make it work. But that’s the thrill of it. We’re testing every angle, tweaking materials, and chasing solutions, because “good enough” doesn’t cut it for us.

Of course, it’s tricky.  But that’s what fuels us. Every prototype edges us closer to something that feels both revolutionary and perfectly right.


Will the Skywindow make it into the Glampervan Ananya? We can’t say for sure yet. But we’re not afraid to try, to stretch, to imagine what others might shrug off as impossible. Because that’s the heartbeat of this van: crafting adventures from the edges of what could be.
